A method of defining and compensating for the color shifts in an image as it is shown on a monitor and printed on a media. 2. A specific Printer/Ink/Media combination in RIP-Queue. is a way of characterizing the media, ink and printers you use. Media Profiles include one, or more Print Modes. Media Profile refers to the actual material, or substrate., or a customer requests a media you do not normally use.

1. Select [Clone an existing Print Mode] button from the "Create Profiles" screen.This opens the “Clone an existing Print Mode” dialog (Figure 1).

2. Determine the Media Group of the profile you would like to clone. Use the drop-down boxes and check-boxes to make your selections.
3. Select your Test Image and then set the Test Image options. If you'd like to use a Test image other than the default image, click [Other] and browse for your image.
4. Preview your image and set your media roll size.
5. Click [Print] button to print your test image.  

TIP: When testing multiple media for a clone candidate, RIP-Queue will ask that the media type be changed before each print. Changing Media Manager to Print Direct (File > Preferences) will bypass RIP-Queue and avoid having to change the Media Type in RIP-Queue. This will not work with mixed print resolutions, or on printers that require a media match on the printers front panel.
